Hmm.

I don't really know what I am classified medically classified as any more, eating disordered wise. I haven't purged for about 3 months (WOO) but still think about calories/restricting/exercise daily. For example today I had a mini binge (mini in terms of what I used to do) over the day I had:
Wheetabix with semi skimmed milk and apricots
2 coconut marshmallow things.
3 chocolate biscuits.
a tuna and cheese bagel.
Shepard's pie
another coconut marshmallow thing.
1 satsuma.
That felt like so much to me. I weighed myself after diner, and expected to have gone up 5 lbs, whereas I was only up 1.6lbs from this morning. Then went to the gym for an hour. Maintaining my weight has become very important to me recently.

Anyway I'm watching Glee so only a small post today!

Is glee good, have heard bits bout it on and off? I need a good program to watch, its great distraction when i feel so low i can't get out of bed. And its a series so i can get into it. I saw the adverts for it, with a guy stood at a door but couldnt tell if its any good. Its good to maintain. take care xxx

Haven't watched Glee. Refusing to start watching anything 'new' until I've finished watching other stuff (Mad Men, Nurse Jackie and Big Bang Theory).

I suppose it's ok to eat a bit more some days. Maybe it's just your body saying I'm a little more hungry today and need more energy.

But seriously...if you think what you ate is a lot...then I'm a total pig.
Relax and take care. xx:)

It's so good to hear that you're doing better!

Hope the small binges disappear from you mind too.
Love Jen.

It still doesn't sound like very much at all to me!
Also you should remember that a pound of body fat is 3,500 calories.. You're burning at least 2,000+ on days when you exercise, so the fact that you weighed yourself twice on one day to have gained 1.6 pounds is ridiculous. :) It's just water weight and sodium retention. Anyway, girl, I am glad that you are focused on MAINTAINING weight rather than losing. Keep it up :)

Hey babycakes

Bet you know what im going to say!!
maintaining in what sense, babe? cos i think maintaining your weight is very important-its the biggest thing you can do for yourself, for recovery. But if you want to maintain weight loss-by going to the gym lots, then maybe gym had replaced your need to purge?

i think your doing brilliantly:)
